Tonight’s the big game. I’m very nervous about LSU’s chances against Ohio State. Most people believe it will be close, and that LSU will win by a few points.
According to the sportswriters, Ohio State has something to prove after being embarassed by Florida during last year’s Championship game.
LSU has something to prove too. They need to prove that they deserve to be in the title game. This season is different then 2003. Back then, USC was ranked number one in both of the polls but wasn’t invited to the BCS Championship game. This season, they were not ranked #1, so it seems EXTREMELY unlikely there will be a “split championship”. USC can try to claim a piece, but I don’t think they will get it.
I’m hoping Dorsey and Flynn are both at full strength after having all of that time off.
My prediction is 28 to 24: LSU!
